Define Standing Committee
Typically, most organisations have a standing committee for the Adjudication Committee that adjudicate all bids. However, there may be other standing committees depending on the procurement environment and industries being served, For example, the construction industry would also have a standing committee for the Specification Committee.
Define Standing Committee Types
Per Standing Committee, one can define the type of committee. This is typically per region/location or could be per commodity/type of service/industry being served. These can be managed and administered on the system.
Establish Standing Committee
Control the establishment of a Type of Standing Committee, This includes the addition of members to the committee and the management of their appointment. Invite members through an appointment letter that stipulates the roles and responsibilities of the members, This can be configured per Standing Committee. The solution also allows for the appointment and tracking of the chairperson.
Manage Standing Committee Appointments
Track appointments where a member can digitally accept or decline the appointment with reasons. This can be centrally monitored by the SCM department.
Approvals of Standing Committee
The approval of the committee is also available. This approval can be submitted through to the Delegated Authority for acceptance or rejection with automated communications and workflow.
